Passion Project Reflection

Last week was are 3 time going to the gym hanging out with the DLP kids. The first two times we played basketball with them. Then we decided to change it up and and play soccer with the kids the third time. One of the kids also wanted to play volleyball so me and Diego played wit him while Jesus and Gustavo played soccer with Jimmy and Haley. After a while of playing volleyball for a while Isaiah then wanted to try out soccer again and that's what they played for the rest of the time. Overall the project has been going good not very many problems its been nice and smooth.

Passion Project Reflection

So far are projects has been going smoothly of course there is always going to be some small problems. We had to make are project more doable instead of having a public wide camp we are keeping it only in are school just to get us started. Also we are using the school gym during exel rather then going to bounce and doing it at 5:00. But over all are project has taken some big steps. for example we had are first meeting last Thursday and we are planning to have another one this Thursday.  Are first meeting had 4-5 people that attended and it went smoothly.

Passion Project Update

Six weeks have passed since my last post for the Sports Camp we have accomplished a lot. I have finished the poster that we will put around berwyn to get people to know about are camp. Jesus has also finished the email that we will send to Bounce Sports and the Berwyn Rec. My group has also narrowed it down to spring break when we would want to do the camp. Jesus has also finished the phone call script incase Bounce or the Rec had some questions for us. And finally we are thinking of fundraising money incase are sponsors (Bounce or The Rec) wont be able to provide the materials needed.

Passion Project

My project would be to make a sports camp for 5-9 year olds. We would teach kids how to play basketball and soccer. This would help the smaller kids get used to the games so that they could have even more fun when they start playing for the next season. Some places that we are thinking of asking to see if we could use there facilities  are Bounce, the Rec, and the Y. We would get this out there for the public to see by posters and also the internet.
