TKAM Found Poetry

                                 Atticus
love everybody
Until you climb into his skin and walk around it
Keep those fists down
Listen
fighting with your head
Be the bravest person
know what real courage is
you know your licked before you begin
But
You begin anyway
hold your head high
Keep those fists down
Stand Up
and
walk away
thats
real courage
Scout

  1. What I wanted to make clear in the poem was the importance of not fighting and just walking away. Also the effect it had on Scout. Throughout the book Atticus has mad clear to scout and the reader that fighting is not always the answer. Also the effect it had on scout I think if Atticus allowed violence Scout would get into a lot more trouble and be a completely different character. And that is what my quotes from the book where mainly based around.
